We are excited to introduce a new tool in our family – Backupery for Slack Export!
With Slack, it is possible to export data from a workspace or Enterprise Grid organization. The export is represented by a zip file that contains the workspace’s message history in JSON format and file links from the conversations. The tool is supposed to solve several important tasks when working with those exports including file download and converting the export to HTML.
Quick highlights:
- Download files using file links found in the export JSON files.
- Convert the JSON files to HTML so the exported messages can be reviewed by any web browser.
- The application is optimized for a large amount of data and currently has been successfully applied for workspaces that contain 100GB+ of files.
- Supports all types of Slack Exports (on the Free, Standard, Plus, and Enterprise Grid plans), including exports that contain private channels and direct messages.
